David Davis joined Forest Green Rovers in the summer of 2022, bringing with him over 340 first team appearances across the Premier League, Championship and League One. A stout, robust central midfielder, he’s fearless in the tackle and a natural leader on the pitch. His experience and fighting spirit will be important for the Green Devils following promotion to League One.
Digger is a player who works hard every match, breaking down the opposition and providing a platform for FGR to play its passing game. Primarily a defensive midfielder, during his time at FGR he has nonetheless linked play well in the opposition half, shown deft touches and neat turns, playing one-twos high up to create chances.
