Jacob Jones is a quick, hardworking left back who joined Forest Green Rovers after trialling with the club in the pre-season. Impressing head coach Ian Burchnall and director of football Richard Hughes, he earned himself a contract.
A young player who is continuing to develop with the Green Devils, Jacob catches the eye going forward, pulling defenders out wide and deceiving them with his dribbling skills. This can often lead to crossing opportunities or pull-backs in the opposition box. He’s featuring in both league and cup matches in the 2022/23 campaign.

Prior to joining Rovers, Jacob came through the ranks at side Swansea City, benefitting from the club’s Premier League and Championship experience and its excellent development programme. He has played for Swansea’s U18 and U21 sides in the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy. Jacob was also an U20 international for Wales.
